Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. She was born on 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox had studied for three year in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. Lennox lived on a student allowance and took in part-time jobs to increase her funds. Lennox decided to change her career path when she was dissatisfied with her lack of skill in comparison with other Royal Academy students. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. The group did not make it to the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and 1980, she was the vocalist in The Tourists. A British pop group. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Lennox was then able to begin work on her first solo album Diva, which was released around 1992. It became a huge critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was Released on October 31, 2014. The C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite blues, soul and jazz tracks. In addition in May 2019 Lennox has released Lepidoptera an album comprising four tracks improvised by piano. The E.P. The album is a companion to her album Now I Let the door open... art installation, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. This is also her first independently-released album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish philanthropist political activist and singer-songwriter. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work in the 1970s. They would go on, during the 80s, to form the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva featured a number of hit tracks, such as Why the World is Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album, which was which was released in 1995, features versions of some of her biggest hits, such as the No MoreI I Still Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale). The singer has released six solo studio albums and compilation albums. |
